Growing up surrounded by stacks of vinyl records and a musically inclined family hammered an undying love for music in me. And while I might not have been lended much in the musical-talent department, I have found a way to nurture that appreciation, combining it with my creative outlet of choice: writing.

As a music journalist, I seek to shed light on the inequities faced by many within the industry. My work highlights the experiences of a diverse range of artists — especially endeavoring to shed a spotlight on local/smaller artists and the art of those belonging to marginalized communities. Ultimately, I hope to help people who have never received representation in the music industry find the art that they are looking for.
