Hello and welcome!

My name is Sophie Severs (she/her), and I am a PR representative and music journalist based in New York City. 

​

I am an upbeat, highly communicative, responsible, and organized person, dedicated to broadening and diversifying my skill set. I utilize every opportunity I receive to create meaningful connections, aided by my passion for creation and collaboration with others.​

​

I am a PR Representative for Universal Music Group's º1824; having secured over 1,200 press placements for artists under the UMG umbrella since August 2022. Following my love for all things indie and DIY,  I simultaneously work as a freelance PR consultant for Dejima, JOBIE, Trophy Wife and Christopher Normann.

I am also a writer and freelance journalist, currently serving as a contributing staff writer for Atwood Magazine (Madison Cunningham, Zella Day, Emei, JAWNY, The Lemon Twigs) and formerly The Luna Collective (Laufey, Leith Ross, Tiny Habits, The Beaches, Mei Semones, Matilda Mann).

I graduated from Emerson College in December 2024, majoring in Journalism and minoring in Public Relations.
